BOSTON, MA -- Former Eastern Hockey League (EHL) players made their mark across multiple college hockey conferences in Week #3, earning top weekly honors and highlighting the league's strong development pipeline. Here’s a closer look at their standout performances.

An alum of the East Coast Wizards during the 2021-22 season, junior forward Jake DiNapoli extended his goal streak to four games with an impressive week for Assumption College. DiNapoli recorded four goals and an assist across three games, including a two-goal performance against Franklin Pierce to close the week. He opened with a goal against Fitchburg State, before capping off his week with another standout effort against the Ravens. DiNapoli currently leads the NE10 in goals scored, with six.

Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC)

Rookie of the Week: James Tatro, Salem State

James Tatro, who played for the Valley Jr. Warriors in the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) during the 2021-22 season and in the EHL during the 2022-23 season, earned MASCAC Rookie of the Week honors after a four-point week for Salem State. The freshman forward tallied an assist in a close 2-1 loss to Fitchburg State before erupting for a hat trick in a 6-2 victory over Rivier. Tatro’s offensive contributions have quickly established him as a key player in the Vikings’ lineup.

New England Hockey Conference (NEHC)

Goaltender of the Week: Anthony Beaulieu, New England College

Anthony Beaulieu, a freshman goaltender and alum of the Valley Junior Warriors, had a breakout week for New England College, stopping 63 of 64 shots for a .984 save percentage. In his first career start on Friday night, Beaulieu made 32 saves across 65 minutes in a game that ended tied through overtime. In the shootout, he denied all three Norwich shooters to secure the win. He followed this up with a 31-save shutout in Saturday’s 2-0 victory, handing Norwich its first NEHC loss of the season. Beaulieu now leads all qualified goaltenders in his conference with a 0.44 goals-against average and a .985 save percentage.

Weekly Honor Roll: Nathan Young, Elmira College

Nathan Young, who played for the Boston Jr. Rangers for three seasons from 2018-19 through 2020-21, recorded three goals as Elmira College secured two wins over No. 7 Skidmore. The senior forward scored in Friday’s 3-2 victory and followed with a two-goal performance in Saturday’s 5-1 win. Young’s consistent production has been instrumental in Elmira’s strong start to the year.

Weekly Honor Roll: David Novotny, New England College

David Novotny, a senior forward and alum of the Seahawks Hockey Club from the 2020-21 season, had a standout weekend for New England College, helping lead the Pilgrims to a 1-0-1 record against Norwich. Novotny tallied two goals and one assist, all in the third periods of their respective games. On Friday, he scored the game-tying goal with just three minutes remaining to force a draw. In Saturday’s rematch, Novotny assisted on the opening goal and added an insurance marker late to seal the 2-0 win.

United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC)

Goaltender of the Week: William Billequey, Manhattanville College

Former Vermont Lumberjacks goaltender, who played in the EHL during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, William Billequey delivered a career-best performance for Manhattanville College, stopping 55 shots in a narrow 2-1 road loss to No. 6 Geneseo. Billequey made 13 saves in each of the first two periods and an impressive 29 saves in the third, holding Geneseo to a season-low two goals. His ability to step up in high-pressure moments has been a significant asset for Manhattanville this season.
