Top EHL & EHLP Performers for Week #10

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Stars of Week 10 for November 19th through November 25th.

Eastern Hockey League

North Division

Lukas Bukatovs - New England Wolves (G)

The EHL is pleased to announce goaltender Lukas Bukatovs of the New England Wolves as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’04 native of Jelgava, Latvia had a great performance in net with a 3-2 shootout win over the New Hampshire Avalanche. Bukatovs allowed two goals and had 29 saves in the big win. Bukatovs has been a staple in net for the Wolves this season and in 10 starts has an 8-2 record with a 2.32 GAA. The Wolves (15-6-0-0) will be back in action on December 4.

East Division

Daxton St. Hillaire - East Coast Wizards (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Daxton St. Hillaire from the East Coast Wizards as the East Division Star of the Week. St. Hillaire, an ’04 native of Lewiston, ME had a monster two games for the Wizards tallying seven goals and two assists in two wins. St. Hillaire started the week with a hat trick in a 6-2 win over the Boston Jr. Eagles and followed that up with a six-point game (4G, 2A) in a 11-5 rout of the Bridgewater Bandits. St. Hillaire continues to tear it up for the Wizards with 36 points (16G, 20A) in 19 games and this is his third Star of the Week honor. The Wizards (15-3-1-0) will return to the ice December 4 when they take on the Seahawks Hockey Club.

Central Division

Mike Bianco - HC Rhode Island (F)

The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is forward Mike Bianco from HC Rhode Island. The ’04 native of Ridgefield, CT had a key week for his team tallying two goals and two assists. Bianco had an assist in a 5-2 win over the Connecticut RoughRiders and had two goals including the overtime winner in a comeback 4-3 win against the Valley Jr. Warriors. Bianco has been a key part of HC Rhode Island’s success and has 21 points (12G, 9A) in 22 games played. HC Rhode Island (13-7-1-1) will return to the ice on December 10 following Thanksgiving break to take on Connecticut Nor’Easter at 12:00pm.

South Division

Alexander Illus - Pennsylvania Huntsmen (G)

The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is Pennsylvania Huntsmen goaltender Alexander Illus. Illus, an ’05 native of Evergreen Park, IL had an outstanding performance in net earning his first shutout of the season with a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Hockey Club. Illus had an impressive 38 saves in the victory. In 11 appearances so far this season, Illus is 5-5 with a 2.97 GAA in 606 minutes played. The Huntsmen (8-10-0-0) will be back in action December 4 hosting the New Jersey Bears (16-3-0-2) at 11:30am.

North Division

Quinn Wimer - Adirondack Jr Thunder (F)

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Quinn Wimer from the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 Syracuse, NY native had a five-point game in an 8-2 win over the Valley Jr. Warriors. Wimer had a hand in five out of the eight goals scoring four of them and assisting on another. Wimer continues to be a strong asset offensively for the Jr. Thunder with 25 points (15G, 10A) in 19 games. The Jr. Thunder (9-9-0-1) will return to action on December 7 hosting the undefeated New England Wolves at 1:00pm.

East Division

Carson Low - Seahawks Hockey Club (F)

The EHLP East Division Star of the Week for week 10 is forward Carson Low from the Seahawks Hockey Club. The ’06 Frankfort, IL native had a huge week for his team tallying an impressive nine points (6G, 3A) in three games played. Low started out the week with a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over the Bridgewater Bandits. He followed that performance up with a hat trick in a 6-2 win against the Providence Capitals and then had a hand in all three goals (2G, 1A) in a 4-3 loss to the Express. Low continues to light up this season offensively for the Seahawks with 29 points (16G, 13A) in 20 games. The Seahawks (12-8-0-0) next up will take on the Providence Capitals (12-7-1-0) on December 6 at 11:30am.

South Division

Owen Ozer - Philadelphia Little Flyers (F)

The South Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is forward Owen Ozer from the Philadelphia Little Flyers. The ’05 native of Dover, DE had a big four-point game in a 7-6 overtime win over the New Jersey Bears. Ozer had three goals including the game-tying goal late in the third period and an assist in the comeback win. In 14 games with the Little Flyers this season, Ozer has 18 points (13G, 5A). The Little Flyers will return to action Saturday December 7 taking on the Pennsylvania Huntsmen at 7:45pm.
