Top EHL & EHLP Performers for Week #15

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Stars of Week 15 for January 4th-13th.

Eastern Hockey League

North Division

Harrison Kramer - New England Wolves (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Harrison Kramer of the New England Wolves as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 native of Redlands, CA had three goals and an assist in two team wins this week. Kramer had a first period goal in a 3-2 win over the Boston Dukes. Kramer followed that up with two goals and an assist in a 7-3 win over the Dukes. He continues to be a force offensively for the Wolves and in 27 games played has 33 points (21G, 12A). The Wolves (21-6-0-0) will be back in action Wednesday when they host the Express Hockey Club at 1:45 pm.

East Division

Liam Fecteau - Bridgewater Bandits (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Liam Fecteau from the Bridgewater Bandits as the East Division Star of the Week. Fecteau, an ’04 native of Seekonk, MA had two goals and four assists in two wins. Fecteau had a goal and two assists in a 6-4 win over the Boston Jr. Eagles and then had a goal and two assists in a huge 6-3 win against the Express Hockey Club. In his second season with the club, Fecteau has found huge success this season with 21 points (12G, 9A) in 26 games. The Bandits (9-12-4-1) next up take on the East Coast Wizards Wednesday at 11:00 am.

Central Division

Kaden Clegg - Providence Capitals (G)

The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is goaltender Kaden Clegg from the Providence Capitals. The ’06 native of West Kelowna, BC had two terrific performances in net this week. Clegg allowed two goals and had 36 saves in a 3-2 shootout win over the Connecticut Nor’Easter. The following day Clegg had a 30-save shutout in a 3-0 win over the Bandits. In 13 appearances this season, Clegg is 8-3 with a 2.02 GAA in 772 minutes played.  The Capitals (18-6-1-1) hope to keep it going when they host the Connecticut Rough Riders Thursday morning at 11:30am.

Tadeas Bezdek - Philadelphia Little Flyers (G)

The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is Philadelphia Little Flyers goaltender Tadeas Bezdek. Bezdek, an ’05 native of Kolin, Czechia had two big wins for his team in goal this week. In a 3-2 overtime win over Philadelphia Hockey Club, Bezdek allowed two goals and had 24 saves. The following day he allowed three goals and had 26 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over PHC. After a slower start to the season, Bezdek has been hot as of late winning three of his last four starts. In 15 appearances, he is 6-7 with a 2.91 GAA in 845 minutes played. The Little Flyers (11-12-1-2) will next play the Pennsylvania Huntsmen Wednesday at 11:30am.

North Division

Cole Davidson - Adirondack Jr Thunder

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Cole Davidson from the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’05 Averill Park, NY native contributed two points in each of his team’s three games this week all against the Vermont Lumberjacks. Davidson had a goal and an assist in a 6-5 overtime win. The next day in an 8-4 win, Davidson assisted on two of the goals and he had two of the team's three goals in a 3-1 to close out a 3-0 weekend.  Davidson continues to light it up offensively for the Jr. Thunder as he has an astounding 51 points (21G, 30A) in 25 games played. Adirondack (13-12-0-1) will be back in action Saturday against CT Nor’Easter AAA Academy at 4:30pm.

East Division

Will Rose - Seahawks Hockey Club (G)

The EHLP East Division Star of the Week for week 15 is goaltender Will Rose from the Seahawks Hockey Club. The ’06 Sterling, VA native had a big win in net for his team taking down the Valley Jr. Warriors 6-2. Rose allowed just two goals and had 45 saves in an outstanding performance. In 15 appearances with the Seahawks Premier Club, Rose has gone 9-5 with a 2.14 GAA in 496 minutes played. The Seahawks (15-11-0-0) next up will host the Providence Capitals Wednesday at 12 noon.

South Division

Matt Tavares - New Jersey Renegades (F)

The South Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is forward Matt Tavares from the New Jersey Renegades. The ’05 native of Pawling, NY had a monster week with 10 points (4G, 6A) in three games. Tavares started out the week with two assists in a 4-3 win over the Philly Little Flyers. He had a hand in all five goals (2G, 3A) in a 6-5 overtime loss to the New Jersey Bears and had two goals and an assist in a 6-3 loss to the Little Flyers. In 22 games played this season, Tavares has 33 points (16G, 17A). Next up, the Renegades (9-12-2-1) host the NJ Bears Saturday night at 7:45 pm.
