Simsbury, CT – Jacob Kettwig, a forward for the Connecticut Nor’Easter, has committed to Roger Williams University (RWU) for the fall of 2025.
An ’04 from Chicago, IL, Kettwig has played in 30 games, recording five goals and 12 assists for a total of 17 points.
“We recruited Jacob this summer with every intention of getting him to a strong academic school and a great NCAA program,” said Nor’Easter head coach and general manager Greg Heffernan. “I feel super great about where he is moving on to. Coach Hall is getting a solid two-way player and an incredible human being.”
Roger Williams University, located in Bristol, Rhode Island, competes in the Conference of New England (CNE) at the NCAA Division III level, led by head coach Chris Hall.
Kettwig expressed his enthusiasm for the next chapter of his journey.
“I am very excited to announce my commitment to further my academic and athletic career at Roger Williams University,” said Kettwig. “Huge thanks for the support from my family, coaches, teammates as well as Coach Hall for giving me this opportunity.”
