Lukas Bukatovs - New England Wolves (G)
The EHL is pleased to announce goaltender Lukas Bukatovs of the New England Wolves as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’04 native of Jelgava, Latvia had an outstanding showing in net in a 3-2 shootout win against the New Hampshire Avalanche. Bukatovs allowed just two goals and had 43 saves in the big win. Bukatovs has been a key piece to the Wolves success this season as in 14 starts he is 12-2 with a 2.24 GAA in 830 minutes played. The Wolves (23-6-0-0) will be back in action Wednesday when they take on the Valley Jr. Warriors at 11:30am.

Cade Chapman - Seahawks Hockey Club (G)
The EHL is pleased to announce goaltender Cade Chapman from the Seahawks Hockey Club as the East Division Star of the Week. Chapman, an ’04 native of Rogers, MN had a terrific outing in net in a 1-0 win over the Boston Jr. Eagles. Chapman had 27 saves in his second shutout of the season. In six appearances with the Seahawks this season, Chapman is 4-1 with a 2.28 GAA in 342 minutes. The Seahawks (9-16-2-1) next up will play the Bridgewater Bandits Wednesday at 12 noon at Bridgewater Ice Arena.

Andruw Davies - Providence Capitals (F)
The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is forward Andruw Davies from the Providence Capitals. The ’05 native of Lancaster, MA had two goals and an assist in two games played this week. In an 8-0 win over the Connecticut RoughRiders, Davies netted two goals. The following day, he chipped in an assist in a 4-1 win also against the RoughRiders. In 27 games played this season, Davies has 10 points (3G, 7A). The Capitals (20-6-1-1) hope to keep it going when they host the New Hampshire Avalanche (24-2-0-4) Thursday at 12 noon.

Kain Walker - Philadelphia Little Flyers (F)
The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is Philadelphia Little Flyers forward Kain Walker. Walker, an ’05 native of Media, PA had three goals in two games played this week. Walker had a goal in an 8-2 win over the Pennsylvania Huntsmen and had two goals including the overtime winner in a 4-3 win over the Huntsmen. In 28 games for the Little Flyers this season, Walker has 20 points (9G, 11A). The Little Flyers (13-12-1-2) have won four straight and will look to keep it going Wednesday when they play the New Jersey Bears at 12 noon.

Mackenzie Owens - Vertmont Lumberjacks (F)
The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Mackenzie Owens from the Vermont Lumberjacks as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 Waterbury Center, VT native had three goals and two assists in two games played this week. Owens had a hand in four of the five goals (2G, 2A) in a 5-4 overtime win over the Valley Jr. Warriors. Owens also had a goal in a 3-2 win over the Jr. Warriors. In 19 games this season, Owens has 15 points (9G, 6A). The Lumberjacks (10-14-2-0) will be back in action Friday hosting the New England Wolves at 1:00pm.

Austin Bonebright - Seahawks Hockey Club (F)
The EHLP East Division Star of the Week for week 16 is forward Austin Bonebright from the Seahawks Hockey Club. The ’05 Billings, MT native contributed a goal and an assist in a 4-1 huge win over the Providence Capitals. Bonebright has four goals in his last two games played and in 21 games overall has 19 points (9G, 10A). The Seahawks (16-11-0-0) have won four straight and currently hold the top spot in the East Division. Next up, they host the Bridgewater Bandits Tuesday at 12 noon.

Tomas Kubena - Union Jr Thunder (D)
The South Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is defenseman Tomas Kubena from the Union Jr. Thunder. The ’07 native of Rajec-Jestrebi, Czechia had two goals in two big team wins this week. Kubena had a second period goal in a 5-2 win over the New Jersey 87’s and also contributed a goal in Monday’s 3-2 win over the New Jersey Renegades. Kubena now has eight points (4G, 4A) in 24 games played. The Jr. Thunder (13-11-0-2) return to action Saturday taking on the Renegades at 7:45 pm.
