Wizards' Leading Scorer to Join Hawks for 2025-26 Season

Bedford, MA – Daxton St. Hilaire, a forward for the East Coast Wizards, has committed to Roger Williams University (RWU) for the 2025-26 season.

An '04 from Lewiston, ME, St. Hilaire has played in 79 total games across two seasons, recording 37 goals and 43 assists for a total of 80 points. His 53 points this season currently rank him first in scoring across the entire league.

"As a coaching staff, we are excited for Daxton and his commitment to RWU," said Wizards head coach and general manager Kory Falite. "He was a big piece for us last year, but he has made tremendous strides in his game both on and off the ice. The results this year are amazing to see, with him being a top scorer in the league. We know that he will continue to work both on and off the ice and have success at the NCAA level."

St. Hilaire's commitment marks the fourth EHL player to join RWU this season, alongside his twin brother Cooper, Wizards teammate Nick Heaslip, and the Connecticut Nor'Easter's Jacob Kettwig. Both St. Hilaire brothers, along with two other Wizards players, represented the organization as members of the Northeast All-Star Team under the leadership of Coach Falite back in October.

Roger Williams University, located in Bristol, Rhode Island, will compete in the Conference of New England (CNE) at the NCAA Division III level, led by head coach Chris Hall.

"I'm very excited and thankful to continue my athletic and academic career at Roger Williams University," said St. Hilaire. "I would like to give a huge thanks to my parents and the rest of my extended family for making all the sacrifices for my brother and me to get to this point. I would also like to thank the coaches I’ve come across in my hockey career, as well as a special thank you to the Wizards organization, including Kory Falite, Joe Ripa, Eddie Pavlini, and Adrian Peacock. All the hard work they’ve put into my development on and off the ice has certainly gotten me to the next level. I'm looking forward to getting started with Coach Hall and experiencing all the opportunities Roger Williams has to offer!"
