Cam Wickens - Vermont Lumberjacks (G)
The EHL is pleased to announce goaltender Cam Wickens of the Vermont Lumberjacks as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’04 native of Revere, MA had a great showing in two starts in goal this week. The first was a 4-1 win over the Boston Dukes where Wickens allowed just one goal and had 29 saves. He also earned a shootout win in a 4-3 game against HC Rhode Island. He allowed three goals and stopped 27. Wickens has had a great season with the Lumberjacks as in 31 appearances, he is 15-12 with a 2.96 GAA in 1,803 minutes played. The Lumberjack (18-17-2-2) will be back in action Friday taking on the Valley Jr. Warriors at 11:50am.

Cory Kashul - Seahawks Hockey Club (F)
The EHL is pleased to announce forward Cory Kashul of the Seahawks Hockey Club as the East Division Star of the Week. Kashul, an ’04 native of Naperville, IL had three goals and three assists in three games played this past week. Kashul had a goal and an assist in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Boston Jr. Eagles, an assist in a 2-1 overtime win against the Valley Jr. Warriors and two goals and an assist in a 6-4 win over the Boston Dukes. Kashul, who is committed to Norwich University for next year has 34 points (20G, 14A) in 36 games played. The Seahawks (15-17-2-2) will take on the Express Tuesday at 12 noon.

Stepan Sidorkin - Connecticut RoughRiders (F)
The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is forward Stepan Sidorkin from the Connecticut RoughRiders. The ’05 native of Khabarovsk, Russia had a huge week tallying four goals and four assists in three games. Sidorkin notched two goals and an assist in a 6-1 win over HC Rhode Island. He also had a hand in four of the five goals scored with two goals and two assists in a 5-3 win over the CT Nor’Easter. In 32 games played for the RoughRiders this season, Sidorkin has 31 points (12G, 19A). The RoughRiders (11-27-1-0) will host the New Jersey Bears Wednesday at 12 noon.

Duncan Stewart - New Jersey Bears (F)
The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is New Jersey Bears forward Duncan Stewart. Stewart, an ’05 native of Wayne, NJ tallied one goal and five assists in two wins this week. Stewart assisted on all three goals in a 3-0 shutout win over the NJ 87’s. Stewart followed that up with a goal and two assists in a wild 6-5 win against the 87’s. Since joining the team in January, Stewart has been on a tear with 22 points (4G, 18A) in 10 games played. The Bears (27-8-0-4) take on the CT RoughRiders Wednesday at 12 noon.

Caden Jacobs - Vermont Lumberjacks (F)
The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Caden Jacobs from the Vermont Lumberjacks as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 Dearborn Heights, MI native had a huge week tallying three goals and seven assists in three games. Jacobs started the week with a goal and three assists in a 6-4 loss to the Adirondack Jr. Thunder. The following day, he tallied a goal and two assists in a 10-4 loss to the Jr. Thunder. He ended the week with a goal and two assists in a 4-3 loss to the Express. In 17 games with the Lumberjacks, Jacobs has 21 points (7G, 14A). The Lumberjacks (12-22-3-0) are now off until March 2 when they host the Adirondack Jr. Thunder at 12 noon.

Colby Strunk - Express Hockey Club (F)
The EHLP East Division Star of the Week for week 20 is forward Colby Strunk from the Express Hockey Club. The ’05 Stoughton, MA native tallied four goals and three assists in a busy week for the Express. Strunk had two goals and an assist including the game-winner in a 4-3 win over the Lumberjacks. Strunk stayed hot having a hand in all three goals (2G, 1A) in a 3-1 win over the CT Nor’Easter. He also assisted on the lone goal in a 3-1 loss to the Nor’Easter. In 32 games, Strunk has 30 points (11G, 19A). The Express (16-15-1-2) next up host the Seahawks on Saturday at 3:00pm.

Jimmy Delaney - Union Jr Thunder (F)
The South Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is forward Jimmy Delaney from the Union Jr Thunder. The ’06 native of Westfield, NJ had a goal and five assists spanned across three games. Delaney had the overtime winning goal and two assists in a 6-5 win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers. He also had two assists in a 3-1 win over the NJ Bears and assisted on the lone goal in a 3-1 loss to the Little Flyers. Delaney has 23 points (10G, 13A) in 32 games played. The Union Jr. Thunder (18-15-0-2) next up will host the New Jerseys 87’s Friday night at 5:05 pm.
