The 04’ out of Arlington, MA is in his second year with the Wizards, having demolished his point total from last season. His eleven goals and 24 assists have doubled his output from last year, and placed him at a point per game pace. He is third on the Wizards in assists.

“We are excited for Jake and his commitment to Rivier,” said Wizards head coach Kory Falite. “Over the past two seasons he has played a big role for us and has been a leader for us both on and off the ice. He is a player we all want: one that battles through adversity with a smile on his face. We can’t wait to see him succeed at the next level.”

Murphy joins fellow East division forwards Aaron Sawicki (SHC) and Hudson Perry (EHC) as the third commitment to Rivier this season. The school is located in Nashua, NH, plays in the Division III Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC), and is led by Head Coach Shaun Millerick.

“I’m very thankful for my family and everything they have sacrificed for me to get to this point,” said Murphy. “I’d also like to thank my coaches Kory Falite, Joe Ripa. and Eddie Pavlini for all of their time and effort, as well as all of my great coaches from before.
