Avalanche Goaltender to Join Leopards in Fall

Hooksett, NH – Wills Seagrave, a goaltender for the New Hampshire Avalanche (NHA), has committed to Wentworth Institute of Technology for the Fall of 2025.

The 04’ native of Huntsville, AL has backstopped the Avalanche to 17 wins this season. He boasts a .941 save percentage, a 1.54 goals against average, and five shutouts, which are all within the top five for their respective categories. As the Avalanche gear up for the postseason, Seagrave has won ten straight games.

“Wills came in this season and has done a great job showing everyone that he is one of the best goalies in the EHL,” said Avalanche Head Coach Chris Cerrella. “I am very happy for him as his commitment to Wentworth checked a lot of boxes for him. They have a great engineering program and they have a competitive hockey team in a competitive NCAA D3 league. Wills is going to be an excellent addition to the Wentworth community on the ice and in the classroom. I am so happy for him and wish him and his family the best of luck next season.”

Wentworth, which competes in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), is led by Head Coach Jay Pecora.

“I am very excited about my commitment to Wentworth,” Seagrave said. “They have a great engineering program and I am honored to be a Leopard next season. This commitment was exactly what I was looking for in a competitive college hockey program with strong academics. I would like to thank my mom, dad, Coach Cerrella and the Avalanche program and CEM Hockey for helping me get here.”
