Walpole, MA – Myles Kidd, a forward for the Express Hockey Club (EHC), has committed to Worcester State University for the Fall of 2025.
The 04’ native of Norwood, MA is a three-year player in the EHL, as well as a two time all star, collecting three points in the two games against Keene State and Wentworth. This year, he has reached career highs in goals and points, tallying 19 goals and 18 assists, eight of those goals being game winners. He is also a product of the league’s ladder of development, climbing from the EHLP to EHL and now to NCAA hockey.
“Myles has been one of the best additions to the Express since day one of his appearance,” said Nic Cota, Head Coach of the Express. “His level of character is unmatched. I definitely wish I could have had the opportunity to have coached him for longer than just this season. Congratulations to the Kidd family and Myles on his commitment to Worcester State. Myles will continue to do great things at the next level. I look forward to watching his success the remainder of this year and in the NCAA.”
Kidd will join several former EHL alumni, including former teammates at Worcester State. They are led by Head Coach Jay Punsky.
“I'm very excited to announce my commitment to Worcester State University,” Kidd said. “I would like to thank Coach Cota, Coach Robertson, and all of the Express coaching staff, as well as all of the coaches I've had in junior leading up to this season. I would also like to thank my former coaches at Norwood Youth Hockey and Norwood High School. I would also like to thank my family. Without them, none of this would be possible and I can't thank them enough for all of the support leading up to this point, I owe it all to them. It's been a long road in the EHL, but I am so lucky that l've been able to spend my last year in such a special place with the Express. The coaching staff and my teammates make it one of the best places to play if your goal is college hockey. I would also like to thank Coach Punsky and the Worcester State Coaching staff for this opportunity, and I can't wait to get going in the fall. Worcester is a special place to me and I couldn't think of a better place to spend the next four years. Go Lancers!”
