February/March '25 Players of the Month

Final set of Player of the Month Honors announced for the 2024-25 season

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are proud to honor the top performers for the months of February and March.

Eastern Hockey League

Forward of the Month

Aidan Radic - Providence Capitals

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Aidan Radic of the Providence Capitals as a February/March Star of the Month. The ’05 native of Castle Rock, CO had an outstanding month for the Capitals tallying an impressive seven goals and 23 assists in 15 games played. Radic had 11 multi-point games over the month with his best performance coming in a 7-4 win over the New York Apple Core where he tallied two goals and two assists. He had at least one point in 13 of 15 games played. In just 29 games played in the regular season, Radic put up an impressive 50 points (16G, 34A). The Capitals finished the regular season 32-10-4-1 and will open the first round against the CT RoughRiders.

Defenseman of the Month

Paulis Leonards Paegle - New York Apple Core

The EHL is pleased to announce defenseman Paulis Leonards Paegle of the New York Apple Core as a February/March Star of the Month. The ’06 native of Riga, Latvia has been a key member of the blue line all season. In the months of February/March, Paegle had 14 points (5G, 9A) in 11 games played. Paegle had two three-point games in the month of February and his best performance came in March where he had a goal and three assists in a 6-3 win over the Boston Dukes. In 41 games played this season, Paegle had 30 points (8G, 22A).

Goaltender of the Month

Isak Saldjoughi - Seahawks Hockey Club

The EHL is pleased to announce Express Hockey Club goalie Isak Saldjoughi as a February/March Star of the Month. The ’04 native of MoIndal, SWE had an undefeated month going 7-0 in seven appearances. Saldjoughi has found his stride and has gone 9-0 dating back to the beginning of January. He had one shutout over the seven game span and one of his best performances was a 4-3 shootout win over the East Coast Wizards where he had 43 saves. In 24 appearances this season, Saldjoughi went 13-9 with a 2.59 GAA and has been key down the stretch. The Seahawks finished 23-19-2-2 and will play the Wizards in the first round.

Eastern Hockey League Premier

Forward of the Month

Cole Davidson - Adirondack Jr Thunder

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Cole Davidson from the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as a February/March Star of the Month. The ’05 native from Averill Park, NY has been a driving offensive force for the Jr. Thunder all season. In February/March, Davidson had 11 goals and 17 assists in 13 games played. He had nine multi-point games and his best performance was a five-point game (2G, 3A) against the New England Wolves. Davidson had an exceptional season putting up 84 points (35G, 49A) in 41 games. The Adirondack finished the regular season with a 25-16-0-1 record and will play the New Hampshire Avalanche in the first round.

Defenseman of the Month

Alec Osher - New Jersey 87's

The EHLP is pleased to announce defenseman Alec Osher of the New Jersey 87’s as a February/March Star of the Month. The ’04 native of Old Bridge, NJ had an impressive month tallying seven goals and 12 assists in 11 games played. Osher had multi-point games in seven of the 11 games with his best performance coming in a 5-1 win over the NJ Bears where he tallied two goals and two assists. In 39 games this season, Osher has 53 points (20G, 33A) and is a key part of the blue line. The 87’s finished an impressive 37-5-0-0 and will await the results from the play-in round to see who they face.

South Division

Aymen Eljaji - Adirondack Jr Thunder

The EHLP is pleased to announce goalie Aymen Eljaji of the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as a February/March Star of the Month. The ’07 native of Ottawa, ONT joined the team back in February and has been stellar ever since. In eight starts since joining the team, Eljaji went 6-2 with victories over the Wolves, Lumberjacks, Nor'Easter, and Union in 431 minutes played. He made 214 saves while earning a .918 save percentage and claiming a 25-save shutout win over the Vermont Lumberjacks on March 2.
