Haverhill, MA – Christian Worrell, a forward for the Valley Jr. Warriors has committed to Roger Williams University for the Fall of 2025.
An 04’ native of Boise, Idaho, Worrell is a three-year product of the Warriors and EHL, seeing his rate of production increase with each season. Since returning to Valley in the new year, he has collected nine points in 19 games. In sum, he has 33 points in 104 games.
“Christian has worked extremely hard to earn this next step in his academic and athletic career,” said Warriors General Manager Ryan McGrath. “He has been an exemplary teammate and leader during his 3 seasons playing for the Valley Jr Warriors. We are so excited for him to establish his place on Coach Hall’s squad at RWU.”
Roger Williams University will compete in the Conference of New England (CNE) at the NCAA Division III level, led by Head Coach Chris Hall. Worrell will join six other talented EHL players committing to RWU for their inaugural season, including Jacob Kettwig (CTN), Nick Heaslip (ECW), Daxton and Cooper St. Hillaire (ECW), Filip Kuba (NHA), and Tyler Branish (NJS).
“I'd like to thank my parents for their many sacrifices in helping me get to this point,” said Worrell. “It’s been an amazing journey and I am so excited to play for Coach Hall at Roger Williams.”
