Wellesley, MA – Brady Clark, a defenseman for the Boston Jr Eagles (BJE), has committed to Assumption University for the 2025-2026 season.
An 04’ out of York, ME, Clark recently wrapped up his second season in the EHL. His first, spent with the Express Hockey Club, featured the blueliner tallying four assists in 33 games. His production enjoyed a major jump in his sophomore season, as he registered nine goals and eighteen assists to rank amongst the highest scoring defenseman in the league.
I've watched Clarkie play since he was a squirt so I knew we were getting a good puck moving defenseman with a rocket for a shot, and I mean a rocket,” said Eagles Head Coach Ian Moran. “He really brings the heat, but what I did not know was what a wonderful person he was and what an excellent leader he is. From day one, he set the tone for professionalism and set the expectations for the boys on the ice and in the weight room. There were games where we leaned on him very heavily in terms of ice time, and he easily could have asked for a day out of the weight room the next morning, but Clarkie was always one of the first guys to the rink itching to get into the weight room with a smile on his face. Coaches always hype their players up and they should, but if anything, I'm underselling how important he was to the Jr. Eagles first season. Congratulations Clarkie!”
Clark will join a number of EHL alumni at Assumption University, as well as Ben Moalusi (NHA) from this year’s crop of EHL talent. The Greyhounds are led by Head Coach Michael Looney.
“I am beyond excited to announce my commitment to Assumption University,” Clark said. “I would like to thank Coach Moran for giving me an opportunity to play for the Boston Jr. Eagles this season. He played a huge part in developing my game and put me in a position to succeed. I would also like to thank my family, especially my parents for their endless sacrifices and guidance. Also, I would like to thank all of my teammates for their support along my journey. Playing for the Eagles this season was an awesome experience and I am grateful for my time there. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Looney and Coach Roche at Assumption for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to achieve my goal of playing college hockey. I am super pumped to be a Greyhound for the next four years!”
