An 04’ out of Newfoundland, Canada, Detcheverry was a late season acquisition for the Seahawks in his rookie campaign last year. Detcheverry scored his first EHL goal in the postseason last year, and added two goals and eight assists in 39 regular season games this season. In sum, he posted three goals and ten assists in 61 games.

“The Seahawks are very happy to announce Alexis' commitment to Framingham State,” Seahawks Head Coach Bill Zaniboni said. “Alexis came to the states last season and took some time to adapt to the country and league. He did a great job of letting things come to him and he just kept working and asking questions. We would describe him as a team first player as he would play any position asked of him and did so throughout our second half run this season. He comes from a great family and we are excited he will be close by for the next four seasons.”

Detcheverry joins Seahawks teammates Jeremy Zecher and All-Star goaltender Isak Saldjoughi in joining the Rams.

“I am thrilled to embark on the next chapter of my academic and athletic journey at Framingham State University,” Detcheverry said. “From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my family, whose endless support and countless sacrifices have paved the way for my achievements. Their belief in me has been a constant source of strength and inspiration.

The guidance and opportunities they have provided over the past two years have been instrumental not only to my development as an athlete, but also as an individual. I am truly honored to be joining Framingham State University next season, and I eagerly look forward to the new challenges, opportunities, and experiences that lie ahead both on and off the ice.”
