Second-Year Forward will Join Owls in Fall

EXTON, PA – Damon Warren, a forward for the Pennsylvania Huntsmen (PAH), has committed to Westfield State University for the 2025-2026 season.

An 04’ out of South Glens Falls, NY, Warren is a product of the EHL’s ladder of development, climbing from EHLP to EHL and now to NCAA hockey. After a stellar EHLP rookie season, Warren spent two years in the EHL. This year, he demolished his prior total of 21 points, by tallying 22 goals and 23 assists to earn an All-Divisional Award for the 2024-2025 season.

“Congratulations to Damon on his commitment to Westfield State University,” Eric Progen, former Head Coach of the Huntsmen, said. “We are excited to continue to watch Damon succeed at the collegiate level. Damon was a leader for the Huntsmen the last two years and he wore the "C" for us this past year. He exemplifies what a Huntsman is through his hard work, dedication, and compete level. His ability to grow as a player and produce at a high level was seen in his age out season with a career year. I'm happy to see Damon get rewarded for his efforts. Westfield State is getting a gamer and a great young man.”

Warren won’t be the only Huntsman that will become an Owl come the fall, as teammate Xavier Tremblay will be joining him.

“I am beyond excited to announce my commitment to Westfield State,” said Warren. “I would like to thank my family, Coach Progen, and the entire Pennsylvania Huntsmen organization for letting me be a big part of a great program, and giving me all the tools to succeed and develop.”
