BOSTON, Mass. -- The Eastern Hockey League's 2014-15 Showcase Series kicks off this weekend when all 19 league members will converge on Cyclones Arena in Hudson, N.H., for 27 fast-paced games under one roof.  The Columbus Day Showcase begins Friday afternoon (Oct. 10) and runs through Monday afternoon (Oct. 13).

Traditionally the Columbus Day Showcase is one of the strongest scouting events in all of Tier III Junior hockey based upon the number of games, the timing of the event, which is held prior to NCAA Division III teams starting their seasons and the centrally located venue in the backyard of 80+ NCAA ice hockey programs.  All of this under one roof makes it a very hands-on event for NCAA and professional scouts.
