DEFENSIVE: Spencer Keglovic, Philadelphia Junior Flyers
The 1993 birth-year defender from Aurora, Ohio, logged big minutes on the ice against the top lines of the Express, Rockets and Revolution this week. Junior Flyers went 2-0-1-0 against those teams and only allowed three goals. The team captain also logs time on power play and penalty kill units.
GOALTENDER: Spencer Landry, Hartford Jr. Wolfpack
The 1993 birth-year netminder from New Hartford, N.Y., helped the Wolfpack snap the league-leading Monarchs’ 10-game winning streak on Feb. 8 by kicking away 44 of 46 shots. Landry also stopped the Express on Feb. 3 and posted a .937 save percentage during the week.
OFFENSIVE: Gabriel Flood, Washington Jr. Nationals
The 1994 birth-year forward from exploded for five goals in two games this week to help the Washington Junior Nationals to their first two-game winning streak of the season. Flood scored the game-winning goal on Feb. 5 in a 4-2 win over the Rockets and finished the game with 2-1-3 totals. Saturday at Walpole he tallied his first EHL hat trick, including the game-winner, in another 4-2 victory.
