BOSTON, Mass. -- The Eastern Hockey League has announced its Players of the Week for November 18-24, 2013.  Left to Right:  Colin Woods, Jake Theut, Austin Albrecht.

DEFENSIVE:  Colin Woods, Philadelphia Little Flyers
The 1995 birth year centerman from Anaheim, Calif., had another strong defensive performance last week as the Little Flyers characteristically strangled their opponents offensively. Woods is on the Little Flyers’ No. 1 penalty killing unit and had another strong showing in the face-off circle.

GOALTENDER:  Jake Theut, New Hampshire Monarchs
The 1993 birth year player from Washington, Mich., stopped 33 shots and allowed only two goals against the high-powered Northern Cyclones as the Monarchs claimed a 5-2 victory last Wednesday.  The victory was Theut’s 10th on the season, which ties him for the EHL lead in that category.

OFFENSIVE:  Austin Albrecht, New Jersey Rockets
The 1996 birth year forward from Flemington, N.J., completed his hat trick on Friday night, with the game-winning sixth goal, to lead the homestanding Rockets over the Valley Jr. Warriors.  He leads the Rockets and is tied for third in the EHL in goals with 12 so far this season.
