Thank you to everyone who came out to our Columbus Day Showcase this past weekend.

We had great crowds all three days, including over 100 scouts in attendance!

There were plenty of worthy candidates for Star of the Week honors, and the EHL has selected Anthony Del Gaizo (New Jersey Rockets), Eduards Tralmaks (Boston Bandits), and Mitch Ossowski (Philadelphia Little Flyers) as the recipients.

Anthony Del Gaizo

Del Gaizo and the Rockets went 3-0 over the weekend, improving to 7-2-0 overall, which is good for 14 points and tie atop the South Conference with the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack.

For good measure, the Rockets also won last Monday, October 5th, 6-1 over the Applecore. Del Gaizo had a goal in that game, and currently leads the league in scoring with 22 points (at least a point in all 9 games this season).

Eduards Tralmaks

Tralmaks and the Bandits also went 3-0 over the weekend, improving their overall record to to 8-0-1 overall, which is good for 17 points and the most points in the EHL.

While Tralmaks didn't score any goals in regulation this weekend, he didn't find the back of the net on Sunday, scoring the game-winning goal in the shootout. Tralmaks is 3rd in the league in scoring, and has at least a point in 8 of the 9 games so far this season.

Mitch Ossowski

Ossowski and the Little Flyers went 2-1 over the weekend, improving to 5-2 on the season. The key behind the Ossowski selection is due to the '97 keeping his goal streak intact. The forward has scored in all five games he's played in so far this season.

Ossowski's eight goals put him in a tie for 3rd place in that category, and he will look to extend his goal streak to six games on Friday against the Revolution.
