Brandon Spognardi, the captain for the Philadelphia Revolution, has committed to SUNY Fredonia for the Fall of 2016.
Spognardi is a 1995-born defenseman from Warrington, PA. He is currently enjoying his second season with the Revolution program. In 24 games played this year, he has 5 assists in helping guide the team to a first place ranking in the Southern Conference of the EHL Premier Divsion.
“SUNY Fredonia is getting a good player and an even better person in Brandon,” explained Revolution General Manager Chris Kanaly. “He is an integral part of the defensive core of our team and I have no doubt he will make an impact at the next level.”
SUNY Fredonia is an NCAA Division III program playing out of the power-house SUNYAC Conference. They currently have an overall record of 3-4-2.
