Ferraro, Decker, and Primeau Named 3 Stars of the Week

Playoff. Push.

With another week in the books, the EHL season is winding down and every point matters down the stretch. There were 23 teams in action this past week, and plenty of worthy candidates for our weekly honors.

This week, the EHL has selected Evan Ferraro (New England Wolves), Trey Decker (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers), and Cayden Primeau (Philadelphia Revolution) as the EHL Stars of the Week.

Team of the week honors are going to the Philadelphia Little Flyers, and also make sure to check out the EHL Honorable Mention recipients, and the EHL Video of the Week.

***NEXT WEEK'S STARS OF THE WEEK WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH.***

EVAN FERRARO

Ferraro and the Wolves split their weekend series with the Express. With the win on Sunday, the Wolves moved past the Wizards for the 8th and final playoff spot in the North Conference.

Ferraro's hat-trick on Sunday were his first 3 goals of the season, and his final tally stood as the game-winner for the Wolves. The New York native will look to build off of his great performance when the Wolves take on the Lumberjacks (Wednesday) and Cyclones (Sunday) this week.

TREY DECKER

Decker and the Jr. Flyers won 2 of their 3 games this weekend, while picking up 5 of a possible 6 points. The big weekend puts the Jr. Flyers in a tie for 5th place in the South Conference with the Bobcats.

Decker's five-point weekend gives him 26 total points on the season, which ranks him 4th on the Jr. Flyers in scoring. Decker's 3rd and final tally on Sunday came in overtime, and is highlighted below as the Video of the Week. The native of Arizona will look to stay hot when the Jr. Flyers battle the Revolution in a home-and-home series next weekend.

CAYDEN PRIMEAU

Primeau and the Revolution won 2 of their 3 games this weekend, and the 6'3" netminder was in net for each victory. The four-point weekend helps the Revolution maintain their spot in 3rd place in the South Conference.

Primeau came up huge for the Revolution this weekend, as he stopped 79 of the 81 shots that came his way. The 16-year-old goaltender will look to lead the way in the final four games of the regular season, with two against the Jr. Flyers next weekend, and a pair of games against the Wolfpack on 2/21 and 2/22.

Primeau also earned Star of the Week honors for the week of October 21st through 26th.

EHL TEAM OF THE WEEK

This week's top team in the EHL is the Philadelphia Little Flyers. The Little Flyers won all three of their games at the Mini-Showcase in Warwick, PA.

Here are the Little Flyers top performers from the weekend:

Winners of 11 straight and 19 of their last 20, the Little Flyers will face their biggest test of the season when they host the Oilers for a pair of games next weekend. The Oilers are currently 6 points behind the Little Flyers for the top spot in the South Conference.

EHL HONORABLE MENTION

The Boston Bandits are receiving an Honorable Mention this week after picking up wins against the Cyclones on Wednesday and the Monarchs on Saturday.

Kenny Graham was the star as he stopped 48 of 49 shots against the Cyclones, and followed things up with 36 saves against the Monarchs.
