SAM KANY

Kany and the Little Flyers won all 3 of their games this past week, outscoring their opponents 16-0. For the 2nd straight season, the Little Flyers won the EHL Regular Season Title, finishing with a record of 33-8-0 (66 points).

With the pair of victories, Kany is now 15-6-0 on the season, with a 1.91 GAA and 4 shutouts. The Arizona native was in net for 2 of the 4 victories against the Nighthawks during the regular season, and will look to come up big again this weekend when the Little Flyers host Connecticut in the First Round of the EHL Playoffs.

Kany also earned Star of the Week honors for his performance the weekend of January 8th through 10th.

COREY KENNEDY

For the 2nd consecutive week, Kennedy has been named one of the EHL's top performers. Kennedy followed up his nine-point performance during the mini-showcase with 10 more points in the final 3 games for the Bobcats. The Bobcats won 2 of their final 3 games and will take on the Revolution in the first round of the EHL playoffs.

Kennedy's 10 points propelled him to the EHL scoring title, as he finished the season with 66 total points. The North Carolina native ended the season on a 11-game point streak in which he tallied 26 points. Kennedy was more the playmaker thann the goal-scorer during the regular season, as his 48 assists also led the league. The Bobcats will lean on their captain during a tough first round matchup in the South Conference.

Kennedy also earned Star of the Week honors for his performance the weeks of October 21st through 26th and February 10th through 16th.

JACK BURKEL

Burkel and the Lumberjacks won both of their games this week, finishing the season in 7th place in the North Conference. The Lumberjacks will now take on their border rival, the Monarchs, in the First Round of the EHL Playoffs.

While Burkel was in net for each victory, but it's the win Sunday afternoon stands out. The Minnesota native faced constant pressure on his way to making a career-high 52 saves in the victory. The Lumberjacks will look for Burkel to step up in a similar fashion during their tough first round matchup in the North Conference.

EHL TEAM OF THE WEEK

For the first time this season the EHL has selected more than one team for this honor, and it's as a result of each team winning their regular season conference title.

For the 2nd consecutive season the Philadelphia Little Flyers finished the season with the most points in the league (66), and did so in convincing fashion, outscoring their opponents 16-0 in their final 3 games.

In the North Conference, the Boston Bandits took home the regular season title after finishing the season on four-game winning streak and going 9-0-1 in their final 10 games. The Bandits needed every single point, as they only finished two points ahead of the Monarchs, who themselves ended the season on a six-game winning streak.

If the top seeds from each conference were to face-off in the EHL playoffs, it wouldn't be until the EHL finals, and the Bandits would get the home-ice advantage thanks to a 3-2 victory over the Little Flyers at the Columbus Day Showcase.
