Matthew Toombs, a forward for the New England Wolves, has committed to Franklin Pierce for the Fall of 2016. Toombs had 9 points in 29 games for the Wolves this season.
"Matthew is a great competitor and teammate who will do anything to help his team win," said Wolves head coach Steve Jacobs. “He attacks the net with power and defends his end with extreme intensity, blocking shots and using his strength to get the puck out. His compete level is off the charts and his desire to make an impact is evident in his preparation and focus. He picks up the team with his big hits and he usually wins his puck battles. He also has a knack for scoring big goals. He will surely step in and make a difference for the Ravens."
