EHL Announces Top Players from the EHL Division

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League is pleased to announce the First and Second Team All-Stars from EHL Division. This was the third season for the EHL Division, and it brought with it plenty of worthy candidates for the end of the year awards.

Here are this year's winners as voted on by the coaches:

EHL First Team All-Stars
Forward - Corey Kennedy (New York Bobcats)
Forward - Connor Powell (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs)
Forward - Eduards Tralmaks (Boston Bandits)
Defenseman - Marc Happy (Connecticut Oilers)
Defenseman - Markuss Komuls (Vermont Lumberjacks)
Goalie - Cayden Primeau (Philadelphia Revolution)

EHL Second Team All-Stars
Forward - Pavel Mikhasenok (Philadelphia Little Flyers)
Forward - Walker Harris (Connecticut Oilers)
Forward - Austin Kelly (Philadelphia Little Flyers)
Defenseman - Alexander Wilkinson (Connecticut Oilers)
Defenseman - CJ Valerian (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs)
Goalie - Kenny Graham (Boston Bandits)

EHL First Team All-Stars

The EHL First Team All-Stars are led by Corey Kennedy (New York Bobcats), who received the most votes from the coaches. Kennedy won the regular season scoring title with 66 points in 41 games, including 24 points during the month of February.

The First Team forwards also include Connor Powell (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs) who finished 2nd in the league in scoring, and Eduards Tralmaks (Boston Bandits) who finished 5th. Powell's impressive season includes 19 power-play assists, while Tralmaks led the league with 8 game-winning goals.

On the point, Marc Happy (Connecticut Oilers) and Markuss Komuls (Vermont Lumberjacks) were honored with First Team selections. Happy led all defensemen with 41 points on year, while the 18-year-old Komuls, collected 37 points during his rookie season with the Lumberjacks.

In net, Cayden Primeau (Philadelphia Revolution) is the youngest member of the First Team. The 16-year-old posted a 16-5-0 record during the regular season with a 1.86 GAA and 5 shutouts.

EHL Second Team All-Stars

The EHL Second Team All-Stars put up their share of points as well, led by Pavel Mikhasenok (Philadelphia Little Flyers) who finished the season 3rd in scoring with 60 points. Mikhasenok is joined by his teammate Austin Kelly, who finished the season 4th in scoring just 1 point behind Pavel with 59 points.

Walker Harris (Connecticut Oilers) and Alexander Wilkinson (Connecticut Oilers) give the Oilers the most All-Star selections (3, Happy - First Team). Harris had 54 points during the regular season, and has turned it on during the playoffs, racking up 10 points in the first 4 games. The captain of the Oilers, Wilkinson, scored 18 goals and dished out 18 assists during the regular season, finishing 3rd in the league scoring by defensemen.

The other d-man spot is going to CJ Valerian (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs) who has tallied 22 points so far this season. This is Valerian's 3rd year with the Monarchs organization, and the 2nd time he has won Second Team All-Star honors.

Between the pipes, Kenny Graham (Boston Bandits) led his team to the North Conference Regular Season title while posting a record of 20-6-1 during the regular season. Graham also owned a stellar 1.92 GAA and had 2 shutouts during the season.
