Silengo Behind the Bench - Wild and Pearson Make their Decisions

The New York Applecore have announced a new coach for next season, as Bill Silengo will be taking over behind the bench. Silengo joins the Applecore after coaching 4 years at the NCAA Division III level.  Silengo has spent the last 2 years as the top assistant coach for Manhattanville College (ECAC West), and the 2 years prior to that as the top assistant coach for Fredonia State’s men’s hockey team in the SUNYAC.

Learn more about Silengo on the official website of the New York Applecore, as well as on our Premier Head Coaches page.

The New York Applecore hockey club is also pleased to announce their first two commitments of the 2015-16 season, as Noah Wild and Chris Pearson have each made their decisions.

Wild, the captain of the Applecore, collected 21 points in 31 games this year. The New York native was the team's leading scorer, and he'll join the University of Southern Maine next Fall.

Pearson, a defenseman for the Applecore, racked up 9 points in 37 games this season. Pearson is set to join Morrisville State in the Fall of 2016.
