SIMSBURY, CT -- Cole Smith, a defenseman for the Connecticut Nighthawks, has committed to Bethel University for the Fall of 2016. Smith played in 39 games for the Nighthawks during their inaugural season in the EHL Premier Division.

"Cole had a tremendous season for us," said Nighthawks head coach Jeff Tory. "He was a leader on the blue line as well as in the locker room. I'd like to thank Cole for all he contributed to the organization in its first season in the EHL and wish him all the best in his career at Bethel University."
