NORWALK, CT -- Charlie Pelnik, a defenseman for the Connecticut Oilers, has committed to SUNY Oswego for the Fall of 2016. Pelnik had seven points in 12 games for the Oilers after joining the team in early February. Pelnik came over from the New Jersey Hitmen (USPHL), and helped the Oilers reach the Premier Semi-Finals.
"Charlie's a big defenseman, real tough in front of the net," said Oilers head coach Eric Lind. "He is tenacious in front of the net, can skate well and make a good first break-out pass and will be a great asset for the Lakers next season."
