Jr. Flyers Add Elite Team for the 2016-17 Season

WEST CHESTER, PA -- The 2015-16 season was filled with plenty of ups and downs for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers, and their 19-15-7 record shows that. The Jr. Flyers entered the playoffs as the #6 seed in the South Conference and lost a hard-fought battle in the first round to the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack.

The Jr. Flyers were led by Joshua Larson, who finished the season with 51 points in 39 games, and George Blinick who owned a record of 14-9-1 in net, to go along with a 2.71 GAA and 4 shutouts.

While their season ended sooner then they had hoped, the Jr. Flyers have now raised their three-year commitment total up to 12 players. The EHL would like to congratulate all of the Jr. Flyers players that made their NCAA Commitments this past season.

The Jr. Flyers now shift gears towards what hopes to be another successful season, as they bring on a new team to the Elite Division starting this Fall.
