Little Flyers Seeking Third Straight Regular Season Title

ASTON, PA -- As the Philadelphia Little Flyers prep for the 2016-17 season, they do so with confidence in knowing how successful the team has been right out of the gates over the past two years. The Little Flyers have ended each of the last two seasons with the most points in the league heading into the playoffs.

A frustrating exit in the 2014-15 season, followed by heart-break in last year's EHL Finals, leaves the Little Flyers hungry for more this time around.

This past year's Little Flyers squad was special in just how dominant they were in the regular season. Philadelphia finished the year 33-8-0, which included a stretch where the team won a remarkable 22 of 24 games. Not much changed as the Little Flyers rolled their way to the championship round, only to fall to the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs in three games. While from an outsider's perspective the three-game sweep makes the matchup look uneven, that was far from the truth with a pair of games being decided in overtime.

The EHL would like to once again congratulate the Little Flyers on a phenomenal 2015-16 season, and wish the team's NCAA Commitments the best at the next level.

This year's Little Flyers squad kicks things off on Sunday, September 18th against the Philadelphia Revolution.
