CROMWELL, CT -- Mason Brinich, a defenseman for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, has committed to Salve Regina for the Fall of 2016. Brinich notched a pair of assists in 11 games on the point this past season.
"Coach Boschetto and I speak often in the off-season and he was in the need of a big, stay at home d-man, and Mason fit the bill," said Wolfpack head coach Chris Cerrella. "It will hurt us not having a top-4 guy back, but that's what we are here for, developing players and getting them to college. We will miss the big man but we are all happy for him, it was too good of an opportunity to pass by."
