BOSTON, MA -- Two months complete, and we've moved past the quarter mark of the EHL Division season. There has been great parity throughout the league to start the year, and that was in true display again this past week. This past week featured 15 of the 17 EHL Division teams in action, and plenty of worthy candidates for our weekly honors.
We're pleased to announce that Chad Watt (Valley Jr. Warriors), Aidan Ethier (East Coast Wizards), and Evan Lugo (Connecticut Nighthawks) have been named the EHL Stars of the Week.
Also, this week's EHL Team of the Week is the East Coast Wizards, with Honorable Mentions going out to the Philadelphia Little Flyers and Dylan Carabia (Walpole Express).
Watt and the Warriors won both of their games this past weekend, improving their record to 8-4-2 on the season (18 points). The Warriors find themselves in sole possession of 2nd place in the Boston Division, just 2 points behind the Boston Bandits.
Watt's three-goal weekend included the game-winner on Sunday, as the 97' forward now has 6 goals and 1 assist on the season. The Warriors are 4-0-0 in games when Watt scores a goal. The native of Corona, California will look to find the back of the net this week when his team hits the road on Wednesday to take on the East Coast Wizards, and Sunday for a rematch with the Boston Bandits.
Ethier and the Wizards knocked off both North Conference Division leaders this weekend, improving their record to 6-9-2 on the season (14 points). After a winless September, the Wizards put together a great October record of 6-3-2.
Ethier doubled his season win total while stopping 85 of 89 shots he faced in the 2 games. The native of Portland, Ontario will look to keep leading his team this week when they face-off with the Valley Jr. Warriors on Wednesday, and then play a home-and-home with the Boston Jr. Rangers on Saturday and Sunday.
Lugo and the Nighthawks swept the New York Applecore this past weekend, improving their overall record to 6-10-0 on the season (12 points).
Lugo's six-point weekend included an assist on the game-winning-goal on Saturday night. The 96' from Sandy Hook, Connecticut now has 15 total points this season, and 11 of those points have been tallied in his last 7 games. Lugo will look to continue to lead the way this week when his team hosts the league leaders, the Philadelphia Little Flyers (Saturday and Sunday).

Led by Aidan Ethier, the Wizards knocked off both North Conference Division leaders, improving their record to 6-9-2 on the season (14 points). After a winless September, the Wizards put together a great October record of 6-3-2.
While the Wizards still find themselves at the bottom of the Boston Division standings, there are only 6 points that separate them from the 1st place Boston Bandits. The Wizards will look to keep things rolling this week when they face-off with the Valley Jr. Warriors on Wednesday, and then play a home-and-home with the Boston Jr. Rangers on Saturday and Sunday.
This week's Honorable Mentions are going out to the Philadelphia Little Flyers and Dylan Carabia (Walpole Express).
For the 4th straight week the Little Flyers are getting honored with either a Team of the Week or Honorable Mention award.
The Little Flyers beat the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers 6-1 on Saturday night, and then followed things up with a 7-2 win over the New Jersey Rockets on Sunday afternoon.
Since losing their season opener in overtime, the Little Flyers have won 14 straight games, and remain the only team in the EHL with a perfect record in regulation. Philadelphia goes for 15 in a row on Saturday in Simsbury against the Connecticut Nighthawks.
Dylan Carabia and the Walpole Express won 2 of their 3 games this past weekend, improving their overall record to 8-5-1 (17 points). The Express currently own sole possession of 3rd place in the Boston Division, just 3 points back of the 1st place Boston Bandits.
Carabia dished out 4 assists over the weekend, giving him 11 total for the season. The 96' defenseman from Florida hasn't found the back of the net yet this season, but still ranks 3rd on his team in points.
