FORWARDS OF THE MONTH

Angelo Marquart tore it up in November, tallying 12 points in 7 games for the Rockets. The native of Hackettstown, New Jersey found the back of the net 7 times this past month, 2 of which stood as game-winners for the Rockets. After a slow start for the team in September and October, Marquart led the way as the Rockets went 6-1-0 in November. The power forward will look to stay hot this weekend when the Rockets face-off in a key home-and-home series against the Philadelphia Revolution.

On the 19U Elite side, Matt Kassab led the league with 16 points in 9 games for the Bandits. Entering the month, the Bandits had played the fewest number games in the Elite Division, so their position in the standings was a little misleading. Kassab helped change that as he tallied points in 7 of the 9 games, and helped the Bandits go 8-1-0 in November. After their winning streak was snapped on Wednesday, the '98 forward from Virginia will look to help his team start a new streak as we turn the calendar over to December.

DEFENSEMEN OF THE MONTH

This month's top defensman in the Premier Division was Josh Hinderliter of the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. The '96 from Michigan scored 3 goals and dished out 4 assists, as the Jr. Flyers battled their way to 8 points this past month. Hinderliter has 15 points in the first 21 games to start the season, and will look to continue to lead the way from the point when Philadelphia travels to take on the Connecticut Nighthawks for two games this weekend.

In the 19U Elite Division, Aleck Forcier stood out from the point, tallying 10 points in 6 games for the New England Wolves. The '98 from Quebec now has 21 points in 18 games to start the season, and will be asked to play big minutes for his team as they face-off with the Bandits and Rangers this weekend.

GOALIES OF THE MONTH

In the Premier Division, the Philadelphia Little Flyers continue to set the pace, as they begin December with a record of 20-0-1 (41 points). One of key contributors has been Joe Giacobbo, who was nearly perfect between the pipes in November. Giacobbo went 3-0-0 to improve his season record to 10-0-0 on the year. The '98 netminder owned a 0.71 GAA in November, which lowered his season total to 0.95. Along with Sam Kany, the Little Flyers goaltenders will look to continue to anchor their team when they host the Connecticut Oilers for a pair of games this weekend.

In the 19U Elite Division, Brendan Boncore was a key factor in helping to lead the Boston Bandits to an 8-1-0 month of November. Boncore had 5 wins during the month, and currently owns a 1.96 GAA for the season. With their 8-game winning streak snapped, the Bandits will look for Boncore to continue to anchor their team as we flip over to December.
