The New York Applecore Hockey Club would like to congratulate Doug Connor and Nestor Plarsmo on being selected to Team EHL who will take part in a series of exhibition games against the USA National University Team later on this month. The USA National University team is compiled of the best players at the ACHA Division I level and will be traveling to Almaty, Kazakhstan to take place in the World University Games January 29- February 8, 2017.

In preparation of this great event, the team will be playing two exhibition games against Team EHL at Rodman Arena in Walpole, MA on December 28th and 29th. They will also be playing against NCAA Division I Holy Cross on December 27th at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA. Upon hearing the news head coach Graham Johnson said, “ We are extremely excited for both Doug and Nestor on being selected to represent Applecore on Team EHL. They are impressive young men with a team first mentality and both have worked very hard this season. This honor is well deserved by both players.”
