Brewster, NY- The New York Apple Core Premier team took part in an event on Monday to help the Matthew's Hearts of Hope Foundation. The event involved filling bags with cotton filling so that students at the Sherman Elementary School could fill heart shaped pillows to help children with Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs). Children with a CHD will use these pillows after having heart surgery to help dull the pain during recovery.
