Jr. Flyers Return Home Looking to Even Series with Little Flyers

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Last night, Alex Peterson scored on the power-play in overtime giving the Philadelphia Little Flyers the 1-0 series lead over the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. Game 1 was a tight battle for nearly 68 minutes, setting the table for what should be a great #EHLfinals. With Game 1 now in the books, the Jr. Flyers return home to Ice Line Quad Rinks looking to even up the series with their cross-town rival.

EHL FINALS - GAME 2

1st Period

Jamie Bucell got the Little Flyers on the board first, but then Hayden Taylor and Barry Kneedler put the Jr. Flyers ahead. A back and forth period ended with no more scoring.

End of the 1st period -- Jr. Flyers lead 2-1 -- Little Flyers lead shots 14-13

2nd Period

Just over six minutes into the 2nd period Alex Ochterbeck tied the score back up again for the Little Flyers. Following the tying goal, Luke Benitez give the Jr. Flyers the lead again and then things were followed up with Kneedler's 2nd goal of the game. The 4-2 lead at the end of 40 minutes is the largest lead of the EHL Finals.

End of the 2nd period -- Jr. Flyers lead 4-2 -- Jr. Flyers lead shots 32-21

3rd Period

Despite heavy pressure from the Little Flyers, no scoring ensued in the 3rd period and the Jr. Flyers picked up a big victory in Game 2. With the 4-2 win, the EHL Finals are now tied up and essentially turn into a best-of-three series.
