Series Shifts Back to Aston for Turning Point

ASTON, PA -- The series shifts back to Ice Works Complex for a major turning point in the series. After the Philadelphia Little Flyers took Game 1 in overtime, the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers turned the tables with a 4-2 win in Game 2. With the series now tied, tonight's matchup will put the winner just one game away from claiming the Premier Division championship.

Below you'll find the live box score, and period by period recaps as the game unfolds. Also, Neil Ravin caught up with both head coaches ahead of the final weekend of the season.

EHL FINALS - GAME 3

1st Period

It appeared as if we were going to finish the 1st period with the scored still scoreless, but that was only until Chris Best scored his first goal of the playoffs on the power-play. The tally held up as the teams hit the break with the Little Flyers up 1-0.

End of the 1st period -- Little Flyers lead 1-0 -- Little Flyers lead shots 7-5

2nd Period

Alex Peterson and Trevor Coykendall each score in the 2nd period as the Little Flyers extend their lead to 3-0. The Jr. Flyers started to turn up the pressure late in the frame, but remained unable to get on the board.

End of the 2nd period -- Little Flyers lead 3-0 -- Little Flyers lead shots 22-12

3rd Period

Both teams exchanged a handful of chances in the final period, but no more scoring ensued. As the final horn sounded, the Little Flyers grab the 2-1 series lead.

End of the Game -- Little Flyers win 3-0 -- Little Flyers outshot Jr. Flyers 26-19
