Little Flyers Look to End Series, while Jr. Flyers Push for Game 5

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Will we crown the Philadelphia Little Flyers as EHL Champions, or will the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers bounce back and force a decisive Game 5 tomorrow night? It's a huge afternoon in West Chester, as the Little Flyers sit on the doorstep of a championship in the Premier Division.

EHL FINALS - GAME 4

1st Period

The Jr. Flyers came out flying as Sean Castagna opened the scoring just 52 seconds into the game. After the 1st goal, Jamie Bucell answered quickly for the Little Flyers, but his game-tying tally was followed by Dennis Ruppe regaining the lead for the Jr. Flyers. The score remained 2-1 into the break.

End of the 1st period -- Jr. Flyers lead 2-1 -- Jr. Flyers lead shots 12-7

2nd Period

The 2nd period brought with it one of the most entertaining stretches of the series as the two teams combined for three goals in a 1:54 of game time. Cameron Bartkoski and Oliver Arnberg scored for the Little Flyers, while Casey Kubara tallied a goal for the Jr. Flyers. The score remained tied into the intermission.

End of the 2nd period -- Score Tied 3-3 -- Jr. Flyers lead shots 29-20

3rd Period

After each team killed off power-play chances for their opponents, the final five minutes of the period brought everyone to the edge of their seat. Alex Ochterbeck scored the first goal of the frame, giving the Little Flyers the lead with 4:18 to go. Chaos then ensued in their defensive zone, and with the extra attacker on, Barry Kneedler tied the score with just 42 seconds left, sending the game to overtime.

End of the 3rd period -- Score Tied 4-4 -- Jr. Flyers lead shots 35-28

1st Overtime

The fantastic play carried over right into overtime, as each team exchanged a number of scoring chances. But in 20 minutes of bonus hockey, neither squad could find the back of the net, and we'll head to a 2nd extra frame.

End of the 1st Overtime -- Score Tied 4-4 -- Jr. Flyers lead shots 46-38

2nd Overtime

Barry Kneedler scores in the 2nd overtime and there will be a Game 5.

End of the Game -- Jr. Flyers Win 5-4 -- Jr. Flyers outshoot Little Flyers 53-50
