Little Flyers Alum Set to Join Pioneers in the Fall of 2017

ASTON, PA -- Tyler Pietrowski, an alum of the Philadelphia Little Flyers, has committed to Utica College for the Fall of 2017. The '96 forward tallied 57 points in 48 total games during the 2015-16 season with the Little Flyers, and then spent this past year with the Odessa Jackalopes (NAHL).

"Tyler is a great example of the USA Hockey ladder of development," said Little Flyers head coach and general manager Rocky Russo. "He spent 2 seasons with our program, playing in the NAPHL, the MET, and eventually full time in the EHL. He continued to develop both on and off the ice and advanced to the NAHL. We are very proud of Tyler and excited for him to have such a great opportunity. He will thrive playing under Coach Heenan at Utica college, while pursuing his education and eventually an opportunity to play professionally."

Pietrowski will not be the only Little Flyer heading to Utica this Fall, as earlier this season, Jamie Bucell also made his commitment to join the Pioneers.
