JERUSALEM, ISRAEL -- The 20th World Maccabiah Games are currently underway from now through July 18th. This year's games are represented well by Maccabi USA, and that is especially the case when it comes to Ice Hockey. On this year's Open Men's Ice Hockey Team, there are four EHL alumni along with a pair of players with connections to EHL organizations.

Here is the full list of alumni and players with EHL connections:

• Max Blitz (Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons)
• Zachary Feldman (Walpole Express, 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons)
• Jonathan Lazarus (New Jersey Rockets, 2013-14 season)
• Luke Rivera (Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons)
• Chad Goldberg (New York Applecore, 2012-13)*
• Benjamin Pulley (Philadelphia Revolution, 2010-13)*

*EHL was formed in the Fall of 2013.*

After falling in overtime in their opening game against Canada, Maccabi USA bounced back today with an emphatic 12-3 win over Russia. Next up is preliminary game #3 against Israel on Monday. Ariel Kapulkin will be joining the Boston Jr. Rangers this Fall, and is currently representing his home country of Israel at this year's games.
