Primeau Headlines List of Incoming EHL Freshmen

BOSTON, MA -- As the end of August nears, the start of the hockey season is right around the corner. A number of Eastern Hockey League (EHL) teams kicked off their training camps this week, and the same can be said for many college hockey programs across the country. This Fall, more than 150 EHL alumni will be starting their collegiate hockey careers at over 50 different schools and institutions.

"It's an exciting time for many of our alumni," said Mark Kumpel, the EHL's Director of Hockey Operations. "As a player, it's so fulfilling to see all of your work pay off, and I want to wish all of our former players the best of luck as they head off for college."

Led by Cayden Primeau (Northeastern University) and Eduards Tralmaks (University of Maine), this year's class of EHL Freshmen has all found the perfect school for each of their respective goals and aspirations. Whether it's Division I, II, or III, the EHL prides itself on bringing in passionate hockey players who are focused towards advancing to the next level. These players receive top-notch guidance both on and off the ice, proving how the league continues to provide the Direct Path to College Hockey.

Outside of this year's Division I talent, the league is extremely proud of all its players heading out for Division II and III schools. This group of players is set to receive a great education while competing in some of the toughest hockey conferences in the country. From the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), and everything in between, the EHL continues to lead the way in the direct-to-college advancement for Division II and III players.
