RoughRiders Forward Set to Join Golden Eagles this Fall

NORWALK, CT -- Mitchell Parsons, a forward for the Connecticut RoughRiders, has committed to SUNY Brockport for the Fall of 2018. In his first season in the EHL, the '97 has tallied 59 points in 37 games to date.

"Mitch is a complete player playing at 100% capacity and all zones on a daily basis," said RoughRiders head coach and general manager Eric Lind. "He is extremely effective on special teams and is a team leader both on and off the ice. He elevates the team to work at a higher level of play by leading by example."

Parsons joins a strong list of EHL players that have moved on to join the Golden Eagles and compete in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). Looking back at just this past season in particular, the EHL had four players from four different teams commit to Brockport.

Parsons and the RoughRiders return to work this weekend when the host the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers for a pair of matchups at the SoNo Ice House. The main goal of the weekend is focused on clinching the Central Division Championship.
