Express Alum Takes Home League Honors

BOSTON, MA -- Connor Rodericks, an alum of the Walpole Express, has been named the 2018 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year. In his Sophomore season with Connecticut College, the '95 from Buzzards Bay, MA owned a record of 9-6-4 to go along with a stellar 2.16 GAA. Rodericks is the first Connecticut College player to earn the award and his .937 save percentage ranked second among netminders in the NESCAC.

Looking back at Rodericks' time with Walpole, the goaltender's success comes as no surprise, following a 22-win season in his final year of junior hockey (2015-16 season). That year Rodericks also had a 1.43 GAA in the playoffs, helping to carry the Express to the EHL Semi-Finals.
