Thursday's Winners Face-Off in Friday Night Cap

PROVIDENCE, RI - The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) is set and ready for day #2 of the action in Rhode Island. The first day of the EHL Frozen Finals was excellent, and the league would like to thank all the coaches, scouts, and fans that came out to see the games.

In the first matchup, the New Hampshire Avalanche and the Philadelphia Revolution battled through a very physical 60 minutes of play. Ultimately, Calvin LeClair's late tally in the 2nd period proved to be the difference for the Avalanche.

Flipping over to the next game, and the pace of the play was a little more spread out. After the Boston Jr. Rangers and the  Philadelphia Little Flyers exchanged goals in the 1st period, it was the Rangers finding the back of the net a pair of times in the 2nd period. However, the Little Flyers showed no quit on their way to erasing the deficit in the 3rd period, and then Eric Higgins won the game for his team in overtime.

As for today, there a very key points on the line as the Revolution and Rangers hit the ice at 4:00pm, followed by the Avalanche and Little Flyers at 7:00pm. Be sure to follow along on social media using #EHLFrozenFinals, and you can watch the action LIVE all weekend long at EHL.HockeyTV.com. If you're planning on coming to Schneider Arena, the entire weekend is FREE admission.
