Applecore Forward Set to Join Cougars this Fall

BREWSTER, NY -- Brett Reed, a forward for the New York Applecore, has committed to Chatham University for the Fall of 2018. The '98 joined the Applecore in early November, and racked up 26 points in 38 games for New York.

The Chatham Cougars just finished their inaugural season at the Division III level, and they'll be looking to take another step with their program this Fall. The 2016-17 team included nine EHL alums, and Reed is the first player from the 2017-18 season to commit to join the Cougars. The Cougars play out of the competitive United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), which is filled with some of the top teams in the country. Reed is looking forward to playing in the UCHC, and can't wait to kick things off this Fall.
