Wolves Goaltender Set to Join New Program this Fall

LACONIA, NH -- Brendan Boncore, a goaltender for the New England Wolves, has committed to Anna Maria College for the Fall of 2018. In his first season with the Wolves, the '97 racked up four wins and was named the EHL Goaltender of the Week in December (TSR Hockey Stars of the Week #14). Prior to this past season, Boncore was one of the top goaltenders in the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP), as he went 18-7-3 with the Boston Bandits during 2016-17 campaign.

"Brendan is a worker. He set out to accomplish a goal and achieved it, and we at the Wolves are very proud of him," said Wolves head coach and general manager Andrew Trimble. "Anna Maria and Coach McCauley are getting an underrated netminder with a big upside. We wish him and the Amcats tremendous success!”

The Amcats are set to begin their inaugural season at the Division III level this Fall. When their season kicks off, their roster will include Boncore and eight other EHL players from the 2017-18 season.
