"The EHL is a great fostering ground for start to finish in-season development. Coaches in the league have quality relationships with collegiate recruiters and continuously advance players to the next level. EHL players show up prepared to play the style of hockey necessary to succeed at our level.”

Mike Callan
Head Coach
Chatham University

“We have recruited a number of quality players from the EHL over the last few years. These players come to us ready to make an impact at the college level.”

Aaron Saul
Head Coach
Elmira College

“The Eastern Hockey League is an easy sell for King’s College. Each player represents the league’s character both on and off the ice. Putting development first is key to helping players move on to the next level; the EHL is a perfect example of this. King’s College will continue to support and pursue college ready players out of the Eastern Hockey League.”

Stephen Mallaro
Head Coach
King’s College

“As an NCAA Division III coach, I spend the majority of my time recruiting out of the EHL. As a whole, I believe the EHL coaches do a tremendous job not only developing their players, but more so helping them move on to college and finding the right fit for them. With the junior landscape changing yearly, I think the EHL has proven itself as a great destination for younger players who want to develop themselves, to the age out looking for his next step.”

Don Parsons
Head Coach
Lebanon Valley College

“We've had numerous student-athletes that developed in the EHL. By the time they arrive at the collegiate level, they are ready and prepared to play and make an impact.”

Arlen Marshall
Head Coach
Manhattanville College

“In my time recruiting at Nazareth College, I have seen a steady and consistent rise in the quality of players in the EHL. The coaches in the EHL are as professional as they come, easy to get in touch with, and fantastic at promoting their players to the college ranks. The professionalism they show is also seen in their players when we are in the process of recruiting the potential student-athletes. As a result we spend a good amount of time recruiting in the EHL. Our roster for the upcoming 2018-19 season has 9 players from 8 EHL organizations, and we will surely be back again this Fall on the recruiting trail.”

Eric Sorenson
Assistant Coach
Nazareth College

"For the last 5 years we have heavily recruited the EHL. The EHL has regularly produced captains and All-Americans for us. We will continue to make the trips to the EHL to find quality college hockey players."

Gary Heenan
Head Coach
Utica College
