A Strong Core of Players Representing the EHL

BOSTON, MA -- It's around this time every year, where all 31 teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) hold their annual development camps. The players featured at these camps include both signed and unsigned prospects. It's a chance for everyone involved to hit the ice with some of the best hockey minds in the world, and the experience gained is simply invaluable.

This year's group of featured prospects is led by Cayden Primeau who spent the 2015-16 season with the Philadelphia Revolution and was then drafted by the Montreal Canadiens just prior to his freshmen season at Northeastern University (2017-18 season). However, Primeau is not the only Revolution alum attending camp this Summer, as Nick Donofrio will be gaining a similar experience with the Arizona Coyotes.

As we shift over to the New England ConferenceEduards Tralmaks (2015-16 EHL Most Valuable Player) and Todd Stirling (2015-16 EHL Coach of the Year), are both in attendance at the Ottawa Senators' camp.

Finally, last but not least, Fitchburg State commit Chris Mattone is hitting the ice with the Florida Panthers this week.

For all the players and personnel, these camps will all be viewed as their respective top highlight for the summer. The work put in this time of year leads to greater success during the actual season. The Eastern Hockey League would like to congratulate all of the alumni who are attending NHL camps, and we wish the best of luck to this group as they gear up the 2018-19 season.
