Two seasons ago, Team EHL took on Umass Boston in the first ever meeting between the league and an NCAA program. Fast-forward then to this past season, and Team EHL made it a weekend to remember, following another impressive showing against the Beacons to go along with a matchup against Plymouth State University.
"Our players have held their own and then some over the past two seasons," said Mark Kumpel the league's Director of Hockey Operations. "To compete against UMass Boston and Plymouth State is an incredible experience for the players. Of course there are always nerves, but our players also have learned quickly that we belong on the same ice as these programs. The All-Star Weekend is a chance for our team to get scouted, but also learn that they can make the jump up to the college hockey ranks."
This upcoming 2019-20 season will feature the third year of the event, and a trio of opponents. Below you'll find the schedule for the final week of October.
