44 Total Commits Since 2013

BOSTON, MA -- Ever since the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) was formed back in 2013, the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) has always recruited the league very strongly. To date, 44 total EHL players have committed to schools in the NESCAC, and that includes five more who will be joining the conference this Fall. The NESCAC is made up of the following ten NCAA hockey programs.

  • Amherst College
  • Bowdoin College
  • Colby College
  • Connecticut College
  • Hamilton College
  • Middlebury College
  • Trinity College
  • Tufts University
  • Wesleyan University
  • Williams College

Below you'll find a list of the EHL players who will be kicking off their collegiate hockey careers this Fall, along with insight from a few of the coaches in the NESCAC. The NESCAC is known as one of the stronger athletic conferences at the division III level, but more importantly, is well-recognized for the academic strength of all their institutions.

Danny Sorabella - Wesleyan University (Boston Jr. Rangers)
Chris Adamsons - Connecticut College (New Hampshire Avalanche)
Connor Kucharski - Williams College (New Hampshire Avalanche)
Calvin LeClair - Tufts University (New Hampshire Avalanche)
John Scala - Middlebury College (New Hampshire Avalanche)

“I’ve always enjoyed working with the EHL. When I get a player from this league, I know they will not be out-worked by anyone. They play hard in every zone and that is clearly a result of the competitive league where they developed."

Matthew Greason
Head Coach
Trinity College

“I have found the EHL to produce players who are ready to contribute to our program immediately. They have been well-coached within their organizations and have been prepared to play in the NESCAC. All the league showcases are well-run and I have found the coaches in the EHL to be extremely helpful in the recruiting process of their players.”

Pat Norton
Head Coach
Tufts University

"We recruit the league and we have done well with the players out of the EHL. I have found that if the player can be effective in the EHL, he can translate pretty well to the college game.”

Chris Potter
Head Coach
Wesleyan University
