Revolution Forward Set to Join Soaring Eagles this Fall

WARMINSTER, PA -- Martin Kapoian, a forward for the Philadelphia Revolution, has committed to Elmira College for the Fall of 2018. In two full seasons with the Revolution, the '98 tallied 93 points in 92 total games.

"Marty did an outstanding job as one of our leaders this past season," said Revolution head coach Jon Rogger. "It wouldn't surprise me if he eventually wore a letter for the Soaring Eagles. He has a tremendous work ethic. He would go through the wall for the team. Elmira was fortunate to land him.”

Rogger mentioned Kapoian's leadership qualities which were on full display when he tallied an even 6 points in 6 playoff games this past March. While his team ultimately fell just short in the EHL Championship game, Kapoian and the Revolution have a lot to be proud of when looking back on this past year. The native of New Jersey is thankful for his time in Philadelphia, and is really looking forward to the future.

"I am looking forward to continuing my academic and athletic career at Elmira. To play in the UCHC, one of the top conferences in Division III, is a privilege and I can’t wait to get started." said Kapoian.
